National Training Seminar (NTS) The annual NTS is held every summer. It brings Shido-kan karate-ka from around the world to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, for a 3-day training event. All Grand River Karate students are welcome to participate.Accommodations and meals are included at the campus for a special rate.The weekend is packed with seminars, a tournament, training stations, BBQs and evening socializing at a very affordable rate. It's an excellent opportunity to learn from some of the best karate-ka, as well as to meet and make new friends. Details for next year's NTS will be announced in the spring.
